This module deals with the rules of priority of interests – that is, those rules which decide whether or not an existing proprietary right in land binds a purchaser of the land.
As this is often considered one of the more confusing aspects of land law, the first lessons in this module aim to provide students with a firm grasp of how the rules work, in both registered and unregistered title.
And, to demonstrate how the rules should be applied, sample questions are analysed.
